Mark is a co-founder and co-ceo of Dream VC, an African-focused venture capital institute and corporate venture capital advisory providing rigorous programmes helping professionals across the African continent and among interested foreigners, to break into the African Venture Capital industry. Since 2021, Dream VC has trained over 400+ fellows, who have joined top VC Funds and launched new initiatives with a combined $10.2bn+ in AUM.  Outside Dream VC, Mark serves as an external GP via EDGE by Dream VC in partner corporate venture funds, has an angel portfolio of 10+ Early Stage Startups and is an award-winning African Startup Mentor, having helped startups raise upwards of $12m in VC funding.

Since 2017, Mark has worked with multiple VC funds; backed 20+ tech startups and has mentored upwards of 620 founders in African Markets. In the same time, he has successfully coached over 300 new investors, who have gone to join Tier 1 and Tier 2 VC & PE funds across the US, UK, Europe & African Markets.

Today Mark's core activities at Dream VC include leading the work of the institute and overseeing Edge by Dream VC - Dream VC's CVC practice.
